Have you ever been out somewhere and you did not know where taxis usually wait for passengers? Now there is a solution for this! We here at taxipole.com strive to visualize on a map all the locations where you can normally find a taxi.
A taxipole is a street-sign that indicates that taxis usually gather there. When people get out from a crowded place it is good to know where to go to find a taxi.
If you allow the web-browser to access your current location the tool will fetch the taxipoles located closest to you. If you do not see any, you might have to zoom out. Currently there are not so many locations, mainly in Finland, some in Stockholm, Sweden and some in London, UK.
In Finland the tool also shows information about taxi-drivers in the area.
The tool work on basically any modern device with internet access, such as your computer, your tablet or your smartphone. You do not have to install anything, just use your webbrowser.
